Coyote vs. Acme is a live-action/animated hybrid that finally gives Wile E. Coyote his day in court. After decades of getting blown up, dropped off cliffs, and flattened by anvils, Wile E. sues the Acme Corporation for all the defective products that have failed him over the years.
Growing up, some of my fondest memories were laying on the floor eating a bowl of cereal three feet from the screen while my mom yelled at me that I was going to go blind. Wile E. Coyote was a staple of those Saturday mornings, so stepping back into the Looney Tunes world felt awesome.

A Movie I Can Actually Watch With My Kids
I'll be honest, I was never a big fan of Who Framed Roger Rabbit. To me, it felt way too raunchy. Coyote vs. Acme, on the other hand, got the balance right. It's a movie I would actually let my kids watch. There are no raunchy scenes shoved into a plot where they don't even make sense.
It was refreshing to take a break from the endless stream of Marvel and DC releases. Seriously, how many Spider-Man movies do we really need?

Cartoons That Feel Right At Home
The concept itself was really interesting. I've always loved live-action scenes where real people are talking to cartoons that were clearly added in later. They handled the characters really well, and I especially loved that they kept Wile E. Coyote true to his original character by not making him talk.
Seeing Foghorn Leghorn play kind of a bad guy actually made sense to me. Anyone who has ever kept backyard chickens knows how those roosters operate, so I can totally see how Foghorn turned into a villain!
I Just Want More Marvin the Martian
If I have one complaint, it's that I wish there was way more Marvin the Martian. He only shows up in a supporting spot, and every second he's on screen is gold. I really hope this movie is the beginning of a whole new trend because Marvin deserves his moment in the spotlight.

Overall, it's a fun, clean, creative film that brings back that classic Looney Tunes magic without losing its identity. The live-action and animation blend is handled with care, the humor lands for every age, and Wile E. finally gets the story he has earned after all those anvil-shaped setbacks.
